thrombophlebitis, and shock. For each it describes main symptoms and
signs, differentiation and treatment, acumoxa therapy, and where
indicated, massage, medicated diet, qigong, and related therapies.
An
additional chapter presents 94 materia medica listings with medicinal
name (English, Latin, and Pinyin), origin; nature, taste, and channel;
efficacy and indications; pharmacological actions; and dosage
instructions. A final chapter sets out over 100 prescriptions for
treating cardiovascular disease.
